Myra G. Statham

Myra G. Statham, age 61, of Cordele, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021, in South Georgia Medical Center, Valdosta.She was a Red Cross volunteer for 20 years, and also volunteered for the Sam’s Short Line Railroad for 5 years.Myra was a homemaker and a member of Wenona Baptist Church. She was born April 16, 1959, in Cordele, Georgia, to the late Ben Louis Gregory and Fostelle Johnson Gregory.She was also preceded in death by her son, Benji Statham in 2019. Survivors include her husband, Charles Roy Statham of Cordele; her daughter, Amanda Serrano (Junior) of Cordele; her heart-sisters, Luwanda Gildersleeve of Warner Robins, and Donna Crawford of Abbeville; and her grandchildren, Curtis and Brianna Denham. A graveside service will be held Monday, February 15th, at 2:00 p.m. in Union Cemetery with Rev. Ron Duncan officiating. Frazier & Son Funeral and Cremation Services is in charge of the arrangements.
