Myles McKinney, age 18 of Abbeville, passed away Friday, May 9, 2014 in Crisp County. Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM Monday, May 12th in the King of Kings Christian Church.Reverend Johnny Cook, Jonathon McKinney,Reverend Kenneth Pate and Terry Clark officiated.Interment was in the family plot in the King of Kings Cemetery. Myles was born on July 29, 1995 in Eastman, Ga.He was an employee of Big Tex Trailers and was a member of the King of Kings Christian Church. Survivors include:parents-Frank and Suzanne McKinney of Abbeville, brothers-Jonathon (Jodi) McKinney of Abbeville and Justin (Ashley) McKinney of Abbeville, sisters-Christina (Daniel) Brown of Abbeville, Olivia McKinney of Abbeville and Kimberleigh McKinney of Abbeville, paternal grandparents-Mr. & Mrs. Red McKinney of Abbeville, maternal grandfather-Bobby Price of Moultrie and maternal grandparents-Buddy and Josephine Knight of Brunswick and several aunts and uncles. Visitation was from 4-6 PM Sunday, May 11th in the King of Kings Christian Church. Active pallbearers were:Holden Rottman, Hershel Cantrell, Reuben Stephens, Mac McKinney, Issac McKinney and Dreyton Scarbrough. Music was provided by George Pike, Cody Still, Jonathon McKinney, Gideon and Shaina Millar. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle had charge of arrangements.
