Mildred L. Stubbs

Mildred L. Stubbs, age 98 of Rochelle, passed away Monday, October 22, 2018 at her residence.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 24th in the M. G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home.Reverend Bobby Pope will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Snowridge Cemetery in Ashburn. Mrs. Stubbs was born on August 31, 1920 in Ashburn.She was daughter of the late John William Nutt and Flora Cooley Nutt.She was a homemaker and was Church of God faith. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Stubbs and 2 daughters-Daisy Layfield and Louise King. Survivors include:daughters-Betty Holloway of Warwick, Virginia Stubbs of Rochelle, Mamie Warren of Rochelle and Alice “Bug” Zimmerman of Cordele, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and 1-great-great-great-grandchild.
