Mildred Irene Keene

Mildred Irene Keene, age 86, of Rochelle, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022, in the Summerhouse Senior Living Center, in Slidell, LA.She was a nurse’s aide and a homemaker. Mrs. Keene was born December 9, 1935, in Cook County, to the late Dan Terry and Ruby Mise Terry. She is survived by her husband, Derral Keene; her daughter; Melba Keene Bennett;her son; Kenneth Keene;her brother; W.L. Terry; her sister; Nancy Golf; four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Owen Ridgeway, a great-grandson, Nash Bennett and siblings, James Terry, Roy Terry, Becky Metts, and Talmadge Terry. There will be a visitation from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 15th, at Frazier & Son Funeral Home.A private interment will be in Morningside Cemetery.
