Maudie L. Fitzgerald, age 87 of Tampa, Florida passed away Thursday, January 7, 2009 in the Bayshore Pt. Nursing Home in Tampa.Graveside service will be held at 11:30 AM Thursday, January 14, 2009 in the Pine City Cemetery in Pitts. Mrs. Fitzgerald was born on May 13, 1922 in Cortez, Florida.She was daughter of the late Burns E. Taylor and Etne Preiss Taylor.She was a retired food processor. Survivors include:sons-Phillip B. Fitzgerald of Tampa, Florida, Michael Fitzgerald of Sylva, NC, Terry Fitzgerald of Watkinsville, Ga., and Weston Fitzgerald of Singapore, daughter-Sandra Kay Bailey of Tampa, Florida, brother-Burns E. Taylor, Jr. of Uvalde, Texas, 15-grandchildren, 5-great-grandchildren and 1-great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Wednesday, January 13 in the funeral home. The family suggests that memorials be made to Life Path Hospice, 3010 W. Azeele Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33609 in her memory. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle has charge of arrangements.
