Mrs. Mary Ann GilmanTrammell, age 85 of Cochran, died Thursday, November 8, 2012 at the Bryant Nursing Center in Cochran. Mary was born October 3, 1927 in Richton, MS to Onnie F. Gilman and Jessie Dykes Gilman.She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior and was baptized on the fifth day of May, 2008 becoming a member of Friendly Baptist Church of Branson, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husbands, Joe Lawson and McFay Trammell.Also, two brothers, James Gilman and Frank Gilman. Survivors are a son-Joe W (Doris) Lawson of Irmo, SC, two grandsons-Brad (Betsy) Lawson and Jeff (Shelly) Lawson of Lexington, SC, 3-great-grandchildren-Jessica, Seth and Amanda Lawson,one sister-Joyce (Doc) Hollady of Branson, MO, two brothers-Fleming (Bettey) Gilman of Cochran, Billy (Bonnie) Gilman of Sylvester, sister-in-law, Judy Gilman of Abbeville and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, November 10th in the Siloam Baptist Church Cemetery.Reverend Tommy Baker will officiate. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
