Mary Lucille Mcwhorter

Mary Lucille McWhorter, age 92 of Rochelle, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009 in the Pineview Health Care Center.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009 in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.Rev. Hal Dickson and Rev. David Clark will officiate.Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Mrs. McWhorter was born on January 16, 1917 in Wilcox County.She was daughter of the late George Duncan McCall and Mary Emma Bowen McCall.She was a retired Seamstress and was a homemaker.She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where she was a former member of the W. M. U.She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. McWhorter. Survivors include:son-Wayne McWhorter of Owensboro, daughter-Linda Keene of Owensboro, 5-grandchildren and 11-great-grandchildren. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
