Mary Frances Brown, age 74 of 117 Brown Circle, Abbeville passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2008 in the River Willows Nursing Center in Abbeville.Funeral services were held at 11 AM Thursday, August 7 in the Christian Hill Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy McDuffie and Rev. Wayne Martin officiating.Interment was in the Christian Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Brown was born on June 11, 1934 in Wilcox County.She was the daughter of the late Alvin McDuffie and Ethel Adams McDuffie.She was a member of Christian Hill Free Will Baptist Church and was a homemaker.She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis J. Brown. Survivors include:son-J. David (Jan) Brown of Cochran, daughters-Lawana (Rick) Kivett of Senoia and Kathy (Brent) Gibbs of Rochelle, brother-Rev. Jimmy (Michelle) McDuffie of Ocilla, 6-grandchildren and 5-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were:Scott McDuffie, Josh McDuffie, Steve McDuffie, Stacy Bloodsworth, Tommy Syms, and Aaron Brown. Music was provided by Vickie Brown. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle has charge of arrangements.
