Marty D. Ledford

Marty D. Ledford, age 56 of Pitts, passed away on April 12, 2025.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 19th in the M. G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Friday, April 18th from 6-8 PM in Frazier and Son Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.  Reverend Richard Compton will officiate.

Mr. Ledford was born on December 24, 1968 in Decatur, Ga.  He was employed as a truck driver with Reeves Construction in Vienna, Ga.  He was an avid outdoorsman and thoroughly enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He leaves behind his loving wife-Stacey W. Ledford, his son-Marty (DJ) Ledford, Jr., step-sons-Chase Worley (Rachel), Derek Lee (Ahjaina) and Duane Lee (Tiffany), father-George W. Ledford, his brothers-Michael Ledford (Missy), Patrick Ledford (Donna), his sisters-Robin Fuller, Cindy Middlebrooks (Stuart) and Tracy Brooks, his brother-in-law-Jay Schmahl, his mother and father-in-law-Melvin and June Wilkerson, sister-in-law-Melanie Gagliano and his grandchildren-Wyatt Ledford, Oliver Worley, Margaret Worley and Gemma Worley.

He was preceded in death by his mother-Edna Dooly Ledford, his sister-Tammy Schmahl and his brother-in-law-Darrell Brooks.

Frazier and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
