Martha H. Rhodes,age 80 of Pineview, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2013 at her residence.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 29th in Friendship Baptist Church.Reverend Larry Wilbanks and Dr. Victor Lyons will officiate.Visitation will be one hour before the service at 10:00 AM in the church.Interment will be in the family plot in the Friendship Cemetery. Mrs. Rhodes was born on April 26, 1933 in Pitts, Ga.She was daughter of the late Harry Howell and Lora McGlamry Howell.She was a retired employee from Rochelle Drug Company with 20 years of service.She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Survivors include:husband-Tharpe A. Rhodes of Pineview, sons-Jim Rhodes of Atlanta, Tim Rhodes of Pitts and Tony Rhodes of St. Simons, daughter-Joni Wilson of Pineview, brothers-E. T. Howell of Pitts, Mack Howell of Pitts and Wendell Howell of Rochelle, 9-grandchildren and 4-great-grandchildren. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
