Martha Stone Smith Dent

Martha Stone Smith Dent, age 64 of Jeffersonville, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2013 in the Jeffersonville Health Care and Rehab.A Celebration service will be held at 4:00 PM Friday, August 30th in the Antioch Baptist Church.Reverend Charles Nall and Earl Smith will officiate.Visitation will be one hour before the service at 3:00 PM in the church.Interment will be in the family plot in the Antioch Cemetery. Mrs.Dent was born on April 1, 1949 in Abbeville, Ga.She was daughter of the late James P. Stone and Nellie Cranford Stone.She was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church and a homemaker.She was preceded in death by her husbands, Roy Smith and Joe Dent and a brother, James Wright Stone in 1996. Survivors include:a son-Roy James “R. J.” Smith of Jeffersonville, brother-Charlie Chris (Maxine) Stone of Douglas, sister-Katherine Shreve of Macon and several nieces and nephews. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
