Marlin A. Craft, age 70 of 236 Airport Rd., Abbeville, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at his residence.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 18, 2013 in the Cannonville Baptist Church.Reverend Chuck Taylor and Reverend Tim Moorhouse will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Cannonville Cemetery. Mr. Craft was born on October 2, 1943 in Abbeville.He was son of the late Walter Craft and Vanez Jones Craft.He was retired Floor Technician from River Willow Nursing Center and was a member of Kramer Baptist Church.He was a former member of the Abbeville City Council and member of the Wild Hog Festival Committee. Survivors include: wife-Julie Craft of Abbeville, daughter-Cindy (Casey) Tanner of Abbeville, sisters-Larue (Charles) Holmes of Hawkinsville, Sheila (Ron) Tanner of Abbeville, grandchildren-Bruce Carmichael, Trey Tanner and Nick Tanner and great-grandchild-Owen Carmichael. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Thursday, October 17th in the funeral home. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
