Marlan Lavelle Sutton, age 68 of Rochelle, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at the South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 30th in the Kramer Baptist Church.Pastor Brad Brownlee and Rev. Dr. Donnie Sutton will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Morningside Cemetery. Mr. Sutton was born on February 1, 1949 in Lowndes County.He was son of the late Bunyan C. Sutton and Inez Hatten Sutton.He was Owner-Operator of ML Trucking Company.He was a member of the Kramer Baptist Church and the Brotherhood Breakfast Club.He was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan. Survivors include:wife-Mimi Sutton of Rochelle, daughter-Sherrie (Brandon) Burgess of Canton, brothers-Rev. Dr. Donnie (Willie) Sutton of Eastman, Jimmy Sutton of Alabaster, Alabama, Russell (Valentina) Sutton of Rochelle, Herman (Jeanette) Sutton of Rochelle and Phillip (Joanne) Sutton of Cordele and grandchild-Lindsey Kyle of Canton. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Friday, September 29th in the funeral home. Pallbearers will be:Harold, Hal, Mike, and Austin Martin, Bubba Douglas and Greg Shoemaker.
