Mark E. Owens, 53, of Rochelle, passed away Friday, December 2, 2016, at Pruitt Health, Ashburn.He was born November 2, 1963, in Cordele, to the late Joseph L. and Lucia McDuffie Owens.He was a self-employed painter. He is survived by two sons, Blake Owens of Ashburn, and Garrett Owens of Rochelle; two daughters, Crystal Owens of Ashburn, and Whitney Owens of Rebecca;six brothers, Joseph Owens of Abbeville, Luther Owens of Pineview, Paul Owens, Timothy Owens, Matthew Owens, and Levi Owens all of Rochelle; and 8 grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at Christian Hill Cemetery.Minister Teressa McDuffie will officiate. Frazier and Son Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
