Margie S. Cannon, age 85 of Abbeville, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2020 in the Medical Center Navicent Health in Macon.A private graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 10th.Pastor Billy Kimbrel will officiate. Mrs. Cannon was born on February 23, 1935 in Jacksonville, Florida.She was daughter of the late E. I. Smith and Mary McIntosh Smith. She was a homemaker.She was a member of the Abbeville United Methodist Church and the Charles Cannon Sunday School Class.She was former member of the Wilcox County Library Board. Survivors include:son-Jimmy (Jennifer) Cannon of Abbeville, daughter-Ellen (John) Mizio of Tampa, Florida, sisters-Patsy Bowen of Abbeville and Brenda Sizemore of Lawrenceville, grandchildren-Christopher Cannon, Clareine Cannon, and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Methodist Home for Children and Youth, 304 Pierce Avenue, Macon, Ga. 31204 or the Abbeville United Methodist Church, 233 Broad St. South, Abbeville, Ga. 31001.
