Margaret B. Sheffield, age 75 of 256 Hop Rd., Pitts, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2013 in the Cordele Health and Rehab.Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 4th in the Union Cemetery.Visitation will immediately follow the service at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Robert (Bob) Bennett, 2645 Hwy. 215 North, Pitts, Ga. Mrs. Sheffield was born on June 16, 1940 in Cordele.She was daughter of the late Virgil Bennett and Ida Jett Bennett. She was the Manager of the Quail Run Apartment Complex in Oglethope and was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Sheffield, a brother-Norman Bennett and a sister-Mary Ann Nobles. Survivors include:son-Scotty (Karen) King of Abbeville, daughter-Kay King Harp of Pitts, brothers-Harold Bennett of Pitts and Robert “Bob” (Patricia) Bennett of Pitts, grandchildren-Shane and Jeremy King, Michael Penney and Kristyn Penney (Deshone) Boothe,great-grandchildren-Hudson and Kady Boothe, sister-in-law-Ruth Bennett and step-son-Randy Sheffield of Covington. Charles Fisher will sing “In The Garden”. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
