Marelda Brown French, age 77 of Rochelle, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 130 9th Avenue, Pitts, Ga.A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM Sunday, October 22nd in the Christian Home Cemetery in the family plot.Reverend Hicks Brown will officiate. Mrs. French was born on July 9, 1940 in Rochelle.She was daughter of the late Frank J. Brown and Annie Ruth Hicks Brown.She was a bookkeeper for Doster Peanuts and a member of the Pitts Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dorothy Ann French in 2010. Survivors include:son-Billy (Wendi) French of Hinesville, daughters-Sandi (Mike) Guest of Pitts and Shirley (Stacy) Holliday of Rochelle, brothers-Hicks Brown and Bobby Brown of Rochelle, sisters-Peggy Cienfuegos of Albany, Mary Ann Collins of Rebecca and Faye Dennard of Rochelle, 12-grandchildren and 8-grat-grandchildren and 14 nieces and nephews. Alex Clements, Jackie Guest and Mike Guest will sing “Amazing Grace” and “Thank You Lord for Your Blessings On Me”. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
