Magalene Robertson

Magalene Robertson, age 89 of Rochelle, passed away Friday, October 30, 2009 at her residence.Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, November 1, 2009 in the Tabernacle Baptist Church.Reverend Ralph Griffin and Reverend David Fisher will officiate.Interment will be in the Stubbs Cemetery. Mrs. Robertson was born on December 13, 1919 in Burke County.She was daughter of the late Frank Royal and Maggie Cullen Royal.She was a retired Teacher’s Aide at the Rochelle Elementary School and Former Civil Service Employee at Robins Air Force Base.She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and the Wilcox County Farm Bureau. Survivors include:daughters-Jeanne Greene of Rochelle, Jackie Cross of Warner Robins, Gail Nace of Kathleen and Debbie Spring of Vienna, sister-Lillie Mae Hatcher of Rochelle, 11-grandchildren, 18-grandchildren and 1-great-grandchild. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM in the funeral home. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle has charge of arrangements.
