Mack A. Pearce, age 85 of Dublin, formerly of Pitts, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at his residence in Dublin. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Friday, August 21st at Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 22nd in the family plot in the Union Cemetery.Rev. Larry Wilbanks and Rev. Eddie Wilcox will officiate. Mr. Pearce was born on July 15, 1935 in Pitts, Ga.He was son of the late Emmett Hoyt Pearce and Edna Thompson Pearce.He was a member of Union Baptist Church and a self-employed farmer.He served his country with honor in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He is preceded in death by siblings, Effie Pearce Hobbs, Arrington Pearce and Arthur Pearce. Survivors include beloved wife of 56 years-Betty Willene Pearce of Dublin; daughters-Michelle Pearce Beard (Ottis) of Unadilla, GA, Suzette Pearce Davis (Hugh) of Chambersburg, PA and Suzanne Pearce Tucker (Tom) of Acworth, GA; sister-Celeste Pearce Williams; grandchildren-Ottis Beard III-"Tripp"(Jessica) Beard, Hollan Michelle Davis, Pearce James Davis, Anna Cook Tucker and Thomas William Tucker; and great-grandchildren-Cameron Hope Beard, Emma Grace Beard, Olivia Faith Beard and Elizabeth Joy Beard;a special niece, Patricia Houston Payne (Richard) and several other beloved nieces and nephews. The family requests that if you would like to make a donation in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital or the Union Baptist Church Ministry.
