Lynne Eason Helms

Lynne Eason Helms, age 62 of Abbeville, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014 in the Lower Oconee Community Hospital in Glenwood.A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 24th in the Pineview Baptist Church.Reverend Kim Conley will officiate.Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Wednesday, April 23rd in the Frazier and Son Funeral Home. Mrs. Helms was born on August 14, 1951 in Rochelle.She was daughter of the late James P. Eason and Susie Joiner Eason.She worked in Medical Coding with Surgical Associates of Cordele.She was a fine southern lady and played piano for Pineview Baptist Church for over 20 years. Survivors include:husband-Wade Helms of Abbeville, sons-Micah Smith of San Diego, California, Duffy Smith of Augusta and Matt (Angela) Helms of Charleston, SC, daughters-Summer (Joe) Morrow of Cordele and Misty (Matthew) Coleman of Glenwood, brothers-Danny (Phyllis) Eason of Rochelle and Dale (Fanilu) Eason of Rochelle and 9-grandchildren. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
