Lucie J. Harvey

Lucie Harvey age 71 of Abbeville, passed away Friday, June 22, 2012 in the Phoebe Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald.Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P. M. Wednesday, June 27 in the Liberty Hill United Methodist Church.The Reverend Debbie Cone will officiate.Visitation will be in the church social hall following the service. Mrs. Harvey was born on August 7, 1940 in Durham, North Carolina having moved from Ashburn to Abbeville six years ago. She was daughter of the late Christopher Johnston and Lucie Garrison Johnston.She was a member of the New Life Presbyterian Church and was a homemaker. Survivors include:husband-Ernest Harvey, sons-Bill Harvey and Jay Harvey, brother-Christopher Johnston, VI, sisters-Madeline Gillespie and Betsy Holland and 2-grandchildren-Jay Harvey III and Britney Harvey. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
