Lonnie Ciel Parks

L. C. Parks, age 69 of Hwy. 280 E., Rochelle, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2008 in Crisp Regional Hospital.Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, November 26, 2008 in Morningside Cemetery.Rev. Jim Wiley and Rev. Danny Allen will officiate. Mr. Parks was born on March 25, 1939 in Wilcox County.He was son of the late Early V. Parks and Cora Pierce Parks.He was a retired Welder and was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include:sons-Johnny Parks of Kathleen, Carl Parks of Rochelle, and Michael Parks of Warner Robins, brothers-L. V. Parks of Rochelle and A. J. Parks of Rochelle, sister-Vera Mann of Abbeville, 3-grandchildren and 1-great-grandchild. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle has charge of arrangements.
