Lois D. Simmons, age 91 of Senoia, Ga., passed away Monday, May 21, 2018 in Avalon Health and Rehab in Newnan, Ga.A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 24th in the Stubbs Cemetery.Clayton Bone will officiate the service. Mrs. Simmons was born on April 9, 1927 in Abbeville, Ga.She was daughter of the late Tillman Dix and Ola Pearl Gordy Dix.She was retired from The Georgia Building Authority and was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fredrick Adolph Simmons. Survivors include: son-James (Tanda) Griffin of Senoia, daughter-Karen (Clayton) Bone of Porterdale, 8-grandchildren, 23-great-grandchildren and 4-great-great-grandchildlren.
