Lois Rountree

Lois Rountree, age 81 of Pineview, passed away Monday, June 12, 2017 in the Crisp Regional Hospital.A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 16th in the Union Cemetery.Kelsey Brady will officiate.Visitation will be from 9:30 AM-10:30 AM before the service in the funeral home.Interment will be in the family plot in the Union Cemetery. Mrs. Rountree was born on July 27, 1935 in Eastman, Ga.She was daughter of the late Austin Parkerson and Pearl Simmons Parkerson.She was a retired IBM Operator with Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base.She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Rountree and a daughter, Sharon Hobbs. Survivors include:sons-Robert (JoAnne) Rountree of Warner Robins, Michael Rountree of Pitts and Danny (Deborah) Rountree of Pitts, sisters-Thelma Taylor of Live Oak, Florida and Ernestine Winters of Chattanooga, Tennessee, 8-grandchildren and 8-great-grandchildren.
