Linda F. Smith, age 63 of Rochelle, passed away Friday, June 13, 2014 in the Crisp Regional Hospital. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, June 16th in the Cannonville Cemetery in the family plot.Reverend Joel Owens will officiate. Mrs. Smith was born on January 31, 1951 in Albany, Georgia.She was daughter of the late George Helms.She was a homemaker and member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Carol Helms in 2013. Survivors include:husband-John Smith of Rochelle, mother-Elizabeth Helms of Rochelle, son-Clayton Smith of Rochelle, daughter-Johnny Lynn Raines of Eatonton, and sister-Debbie (Joey) Boney of Rochelle. Charles Fisher will sing Amazing Grace and a CD-Go Rest High On That Mountain will be played. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
