Linda Ruth Keene

Linda Ruth Keene, age 77, of Rochelle, passed away Friday, January 14, 2022, at her residence.She was homemaker, a member of the Garden Club, and loved gardening, visiting the mountains, refurbishing antiques, and studying her family history.She was a Baptist by faith. Linda was born November 6, 1944, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late George W. McWhorter and Lucille McCall McWhorter.She is survived by her husband, Donald O. Keene of Rochelle; her daughters, Wendi French (Billy) of Hinesville; Kresta Wilson (Brian) of Americus; her brother, Wayne McWhorter (Pat) of Rochelle; 7 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. A private family graveside service will be held in Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Rev. David Clark officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children. Frazier & Son Funeral and Cremation Services is in charge of the arrangements.
