Lewis R. "Ronnie" Willcox

Lewis R. “Ronnie” Willcox, age 73, of Abbeville, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Glen Eagle Health Care and Rehab Center.He was an educator with the Wilcox County School System, an avid outdoorsman, and a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church. Ronnie was born February 26, 1948, in Hawkinsville, Georgia, to the late Lewis Norman Willcox and Lucille Mashburn Willcox.He is survived by his wife, Judy Willcox of Abbeville; his son Josh Willcox (Kristyn) of Pineview; and his grandchildren, Kaeleb, Brinley, and Briggs Willcox, and a step-granddaughter, Katerina Atkins. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, August 29th, at 2:00 p.m. in Cedar Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Cook officiating, and eulogies given by Wayne Wilson and Pete Peebles.A visitation will follow after the service.
