Lena F. Wilkerson, age 87 of Pitts, (formerly of Rebecca) passed away Friday, November 15, 2019 in the Crisp Regional Hospital.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, November 17th in the Pitts Church of God.Visitation will be one hour before the service from 2-3 PM in the church.Pastor Hugh Anderson will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Rebecca. Mrs. Wilkerson was born on February 5, 1932 in Rochelle, Ga.She was daughter of the late Walter Driver and Beckie Adkinson Driver.She was former manager of the Jiffy Convenient Store in Rebecca and was a member of the Pitts Church of God.She is preceded in death by her husband, Auburn Caris Wilkerson. Survivors include:3-daughters-Betty Sue Mears of Cordele, JoAnn (Jimmy) Daniels of Greenfield, TN and Tara (Tim) Conner of Pitts, brother-Tommy Driver of Marshallville, Wisconsin, sisters-Lugene Wilkerson of Cordele and Florence Sloan of Valdosta, 9-grandchildren, 18-great-grandchildren and 19-great-great-grandchildren. Vickie Brown will play prelude and postlude and sing “I Bowed On My Knees and Cried Holy” and Alice Powell will sing “Stroll Over Heaven”. Pallbearers will be:Alfred Walls, Jr., Shane Walls, Russell Daniels, Daniel Newsome, Michael Gibson and Ronnie Davis. Frazier and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
