Laverne White

Laverne White, age 90 of Rochelle, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 in the Pruitt Health in Ashburn.  Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 1, 2025 in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Craig Barnette and Reverend David Clark officiating.  Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Friday, January 31th in Frazier and Son Funeral Home.

Mrs. White was born on November 21, 1934  in Sylvester, Ga.  She was daughter of the late Cleavous Louis Dominey and Allie Lois Scoggins.  She was a retired Telephone Operator with Southern Bell.  She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and was a graduate from Pitts High school.  She enjoyed baseball, game shows, crafting and canning.  She was preceded in death by brothers-Tom Dominey, Boyce Dominey, J. E. Dominey, Don Dominey and sisters-Genice Conner and Barbara Gibbs.

Survivors include:  son-Steve White, Daughter-Kristi White Boersema (Bill), brothers- Buck Dominy (Mary Kay), Benny Dominy (Sanora), sisters-Oneita (Monk) Hancock (James) and one grandchild-Shawn Milner.

Frazier and Son Funeral and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
