Laura Belle Clark

Laura B. Clark, age 93 of Abbeville, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2010 in the Tift Regional Medical Center.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 23 in the Antioch Baptist Church.Reverend Dan Lovett, Reverend J. T. Smith, and Reverend James Faircloth will officiate.Interment will be in the Antioch Cemetery. Mrs. Clark was born on October 1, 1916 in Rhine, Georgia.She was daughter of the late John Yancey and Artie Bowen Yancey.She was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church and was a homemaker.She is preceded in death by her husband, William Reginald Clark, a sister-Sallie Mae Harrell, and a brother-Dan Yancey. Survivors include:son- Reverend David Clark of Abbeville, daughters-Sue Wilson of Abbeville, Jean Heintz of Demorest and Yvonne Lovett of Fitzgerald, step-sons-Billy Clark of Abbeville, Joe Clark of Athens, Carl Clark of Abbeville and Hugh Clark of Abbeville, step-daughter-Jeanita Kelly of Ashburn, 31-grandchildren, 56-great-grandchildern and 24-great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Monday, Feb. 22 in the funeral home. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle has charge of arrangements.
