Kenneth Thompson, age 63, of Pineview, passed away Friday, March 12, 2021, at his residence.He was a farmer who loved his family and cows, and was a member of Union Baptist Church. Kenneth was born May 16, 1957, in Hawkinsville, to the late Sam Thompson and Audrey Massey Thompson.He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Donnie, Recial, and Hermice Thompson, and a sister, Kathy Bodrey. Survivors include his wife, Karen Thompson of Pineview; his daughters, Tara Moore (Jeremy) of Rochelle, and Shelly Sheffield (Jake) of Dublin; a brother, Loys Thompson (Marilyn) of Pineview; a sister, Wyona Holliday of Pitts; and six grandchildren, Bailey, Brinleigh, and Steven Sheffield, and Hunter, Brantley, and Lexie Moore; and his father and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. James Bloodworth of Rochelle. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 14th, at 3:00 p.m. in Union Cemetery with Rev. Larry Wilbanks officiating. The Union Trio (Janis Crenshaw, Patsy Hawkins, and Vickie Rhodes) will sing “Amazing Grace.”Pallbearers will be Roy Bloodworth, Keith Holliday, Mike Holliday, Lance Thompson, Ty Thompson, and David Thompson.
