Kathy Janice Lashley, age 56 of 794 2nd Avenue, Rochelle passed away Thursday, August 20, 2009 at her residence.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, August 22, 2009 in the M. G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home.The Reverend Wayne Martin and Reverend Jason Puckett will officiate.Interment will follow in the Christian Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Lashley was born on August 31, 1952 in Jackson County having lived in Rochelle since 1994.She was daughter of the late Joseph Wallace Lockman and Charlotte Virginia Stedmand Lockman.She was Manager of Subway in Rochelle and a member of the Deerwood Fellowship United Penecostal Church in Fitzgerald.She was also a homemaker. Survivors include:husband-James M. Lashley of Rochelle, sons-William R. Lashley of Rochelle and Dusty R. Lashley of Abbeville, daughters-Kathryn R. Samas of Chester, Virginia I. Adkinson of Rochelle and Savana R. Lashley of Rochelle, brothers-Mark Lockman of Bolibar, Missouri and Lamar Lockman of Bolibar, Missouri, sister-Judy Puckett of Thomasville, 10-grandchildren and 1-great-grandchild. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Friday, August 21 in the M. G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle has charge of arrangements.
