Karen Serena Mckinley

Karen Serena McKinley, age 59 of Pitts, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012 in the Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, October 16th in the Pine City Holiness Baptist Church.Visitation will be at the church at 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM.Brother Louie Tripp will officiate.Interment will be in the Pine City Cemetery. Ms. McKinley was born on January 22, 1953 in Miami, Florida.She had lived in Wilcox County since 1998 moving from Palatka, Florida.She was daughter of the late Olen Colbert McKinley and Serena Inelle Cason McKinley. She was a caregiver and a former employee of the Tree of Life in St. Augustine, Florida.She attended Wilcox County High School and was a member of Pine City Holiness Baptist Church.She is preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey McKinley and a sister, Annell Hubbard. Survivors include:brothers-Larry and Brent McKinley both of Pitts and seven nieces and nephews. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
