Junior Nutt

Junior Nutt, age 92, of Pitts, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021, in Crossview Care Center, Pineview.He was a self-employed farmer, a member and deacon of Christian Home Baptist Church, a member of the Wilcox County Farm Bureau, and an avid coon hunter and fisherman. Junior was born July 26, 1929, in Irwinville, Georgia, to the late Willard Kenneth Nutt and Rosa Bell Smith Nutt.He was also preceded in death by his wife, Edwina Conner Nutt in 2001, and by several brothers and sisters. Survivors include his son, Edwin Nutt of Pitts; his brother Wayne Nutt of Pitts; his sister, Janell Wallace of Pitts; his grandchildren, Stephanie Bloodsworth (Charles), and Graham Nutt; and his great-grandchildren, Calynn, Sydnie, Shelby, Gavin, Garrett, Caden, and Blake. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 4th, at 11:00 a.m. in Pitts Cemetery with Rev. David Clark and Rev. Jacob Martin officiating.
