Jueivene Rhodes

Jueivene Rhodes, age 87 of Abbeville, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024 at her residence.  Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 7, 2024 in the Cannonville Cemetery. Rev. Joey Owens and Reverend Tim Moorhouse will officiate.

Mrs. Rhodes was born on October 6, 1936 in Abbeville, Ga.  She was daughter of the late Joseph Walter Moorhouse and Amy Irene Wilson.  She was retired from Robins Air Force Base in the shipping and storing supplies department. She was a member of the Cannonville Baptist Church.  Her grandchildren, which she loved very much, were the joy of her life. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Jonah Morgan, brothers, John Moorhouse and Bubba Davis and sister, Sylvia Shealy.

Survivors include:  son-Hubert Rhodes, Jr of Abbeville, daughters-Peggy Minchew (Larry) of Abbeville, Terry Morgan of Fitzgerald, Denise Stubbs (Mickey) of Rochelle and Jan DeVane (Mike) of Fitzgerald, brother-Richard Moorhouse and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Frazier and Son Funeral and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
