Juanita H. Fitzgerald, age 88 of Rochelle, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2015 in the Crisp Regional Hospital.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, November 12th in the First Avenue Baptist Church.Visitation will be one hour before the service from 1-2 PM in the church.Reverend Lawton Sammons will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Morningside Cemetery. Mrs. Fitzgerald was born on June 27, 1927 in Abbeville, Ga.She was daughter of the late Ollie Hunter and Maybelle Sumner Hunter.She was a member of the First Avenue Baptist Church where she served as church organist and Treasurer.She was also a member of the Dogwood Garden Club.She served many years as Secretary for Wilcox Elementary and was Assistant Rochelle City Clerk.She assisted her husband in running the family business, Wilcox Builder's Supply.She is preceded in death by her husband, Allen P. Fitzgerald and a daughter, Candi Daniel in 2013. Survivors include:son-Allen (Wanda) Fitzgerald of Milledgeville, daughter-Judy (Ronnie) Willcox of Rochelle, granddaughter-Hunter Daniel, grandsons-Josh Willcox, Brandon Shell and Will Fitzgerald, geat-grandchildren-Kaeleb Willcox and Brinley Willcox and son-in-law-Luke Daniel of Mexico Beach, Florida.
