Joyce Kent Hunter

Joyce Kent Hunter, age 85, of Abbeville, passed away Friday, July 30, 2021, at her residence.She had worked as a store clerk for Fast-Stop Foods, and was a member of Siloam Baptist Church. Joyce was born August 24, 1935, in Cordele, Georgia, to the late Nolen Kent and Rosa Thelma Miller Kent.She was also preceded in death by two husbands, Bob Hollingsworth and Leonard C. “Skeet” Hunter; her sons, Lee Sparks and James Hollingsworth; and her brother, Bob Kent.Survivors include her sons, Lee Hollingsworth (Faye) of Abbeville, and Alan Hunter (Lisa) of Abbeville; her daughter, Debra Braden of Abbeville; her daughter-in-law, Suzie Hollingsworth; her sister, Louise Keene (Quiller) of Abbeville; 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Sunday, August 1st, at 2:00 p.m. in Siloam Cemetery with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the church. Interment will follow in Siloam Cemetery.Rev.
