Joyce S. Dominy

Joyce S. Dominy, age 76 of 6593 Owensboro Rd., Abbeville, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013 in the Memorial Manor Nursing Home in Bainbridge.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, April 12th in the Antioch Baptist Church.Reverend Dan Lovett, Reverend Harris Johnson and Reverend David Clark will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Antioch Cemetery. Mrs. Dominy was born on September 13, 1936 in Abbeville.She was daughter of the late Plas Lovejoy Stone and Alma Peacock Stone.She was a seamstress with the Cordele Uniform Company and was a homemaker.She was a devotedlife long member of the Antioch Baptist Church. Survivors include:son-Tony Dominy of Abbeville, daughter-Kay Black of Bainbridge, brother-Early Stone of Abbeville, 7-grandchildren and 5-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Thursday, April 11th in the funeral home. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
