Jonathan "Jon" Grady Wilson

Jonathan “Jon” Grady Wilson, age 57 of Pitts, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2019 in the Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, August 4th in the Pope City Baptist Church. Visitation will be one hour before the service from 2-3 PM in the church. Reverend Danny Allen and Reverend Tommy Brett will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Pleasant View Cemetery with Military Rites. Mr. Wilson was born on April 14, 1962 in Warner Robins, Ga.He was son of Agnes Wilson and the late James Grady Wilson.He was retired from Civil Service as a Civil Engineer with Robins Air Force Base and was a member of Pope City Baptist Church.He served his country with honor in the United States Army in the 82nd Airborne.He was preceded in death by a daughter, Brandy Nicole Wilson. Survivors include:mother-Agnes Wilson of Warner Robins, daughters-Heather Woodard of Brunswick and Tara Wilson of Owensboro, Kentucky, brother-Walter Jason Wilson of Warner Robins and 1-gandchild-Gavin Swafford of St. Simons.
