Johnny F. Owens, age 71 of 9782 Hwy. 112, Rochelle, passed away Monday, March 29th, 2010 at his residence.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, March 31st 2010 in the New Providence Primitive Baptist Church. Reverend Ray Burnette and Elder Raybon Lord will officiate. Interment will be in the Morningside Cemetery. Mr. Owens was born on August 12, 1938 in Rochelle, Georgia.He was son of the late Leonard F. Owens and Edna Clements Owens.He was a farmer and member of the New Providence Baptist Church.He was preceded in death by his former wife, Johnnie W. Owens and a son, Randy Fultz. Survivors include:wife-Paula Faye Owens of Rochelle/Cordele, sons-Charles (Faye) Owens of Cordele, Rusty (Lisa) Fultz of Green Cove Springs, Florida, Rickey (Deborah) Fultz of Cordele, daughter-Denice (Richard) Terry of Rochelle, grandchildren-Brittany (Andy) Stamschror of Valdosta, Courtney Terry of Rochelle, Jessica Fultz of Scranton, Pennsylvania, Rick Fultz of Cordele, and Russell and Remington Fultz of Green Cove Springs, Florida. Visitation will be held from 7-9 PM Tuesday, March 30th in the funeral home. Flowers are being accepted, however, the family suggests that memorials may be made to the New Providence Primitive Baptist Church, 494 Hwy. 112, Rochelle, Ga. 31079 or the Crisp Regional Hospice, 910 5th St. N., Cordele, Ga. 31015.
