John Wesley Poole, Jr.

John Wesley Poole, Jr. age 67 of Abbeville, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2009 in the Taylor Regional Hospital.Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, December 11, 2009 in the Sandy Mount Cemetery in Cordele.Reverend Chuck Taylor will officiate. Mr. Poole was born on September 3, 1942 in Wilcox County.He was son of the late John Wesley Poole and Rabin Spurling Poole.He was a truck driver and was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include:daughters-Rose Marie and Crystal Dawn Wills of Dalton, brother-Harold Dorsey Poole of Tennessee, sister-Mary Lee Poole of Eastman, nieces-Brenda Poole of Cordele and Letrice Merritt of Savannah, nephew-Paul Poole of Cordele, an aunt-Rosa Spurling of Abbeville, and several cousins also survive. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Thursday, December 10, 2009 in the funeral home. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle has charge of arrangements.
