John W. Neighbors, Sr.

John W. Neighbors, Sr., age 70 of Abbeville, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2012 in the Crisp Regional Hospital.Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, December 6th in the Pope City Cemetery.Reverend Danny Allen and Reverend Chris Kyle will officiate. Visitation will be from 10-11:00 AM on Thursday in Frazier and Son Funeral Home. Mr. Neighbors was born on April 16, 1942 in Canton, Ga.He was son of the late Zed Neighbors and Cora Craig Neighbors.He was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include: wife-Ruby Neighbors of Abbeville, sons-John and William Neighbors both of Abbeville, daughters-Cristie Neighbors of Abbeville and Carolyn Busbin of Abbeville,sisters-Alice Evans of Pitts, Betty Lane of Abbeville, Ruth Blackwell and Janie Nichols both of Cumming,6-grandchildren and 2-great- grandchildren. Pallbearers will be:John Neighbors, Joe Craig, Billy Evans, Ray Neighbors, Chris Kyle and David Kuykendoll. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
