John Moorhouse

John Moorhouse, age 79 of Abbeville, passed away Monday, December 28, 2020 in the Houston Medical Center.Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 3, 2021 in the Cannonville Cemetery.Reverend Joel Owens will officiate. Mr. Moorhouse was born on April 11, 1941 in Abbeville.He was son of the late Joseph Walter Moorhouse and Amy Wilson Moorhouse.He was retired from Delco and was a member of the Cannonville Baptist Church.He loved spending time with family and friends and especially his pastor and church family.He was an avid hunter and fisherman.He was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Fincher Moorhouse, a sister, Sylvia Shealey and a brother, Walter Addison “Bubba” Davis. Survivors include:sons-Joe (Donna) Moorhouse of Abbeville, Tim Moorhouse of Abbeville and Stacy Moorhouse of Abbeville, brother-Richard Moorhouse of Brookfield, sister-Juevenne Rhodes of Abbeville, grandchildren-Nate (Courtney) Moorhouse of Warner Robins and Nolan (Mollie) Moorhouse of Abbeville and a great-granddaughter-Libbie Moorhouse. Frazier and Son Funeral and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
