John David Mccall

John David McCall, age 63 of Rochelle, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2012 in the Tift Regional Hospital.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 31st in the Pitts United Methodist Church.Reverend Nancylee Cater and Reverend Mike Davis will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Pine City Cemetery. Mr. McCall was born on May 25, 1949 in Fitzgerald, Ga.He was son of the late Marcus B. McCall and Betty Yvonne Lomon McCall.He was a School Teacher with the Wilcox County Board of Education.He received his Batchelor’s Degree and was a member of the Pitts United Methodist Church. Survivors include:Wife-Betty McCall of Pitts, sons-Mark (Brandi) McCall of Oakridge, NC and David (Christy) McCall of Hawkinsville, daughters-Dr. Haley (Robert) Rodgers of Rochelle and Rachel (Dr. Ryan) Becker of Omaha, Nebraska, sister-Janet (Wayne) Harvey of Abbeville, 5-grandchildren, special friends-Wallace and Denise Lamb and Family of Rochelle and Jessy Braden of Owensboro. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Monday, July 30th in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Pitts United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 223, Pitts, Ga. 31072. The family may be contacted at the residence of Haley and Robert Rodgers at 2735 Christian Home Rd., Rochelle, Ga. 31079.
