John J. "Jack" Coleman

John J. “Jack” Coleman, age 93 of Rochelle, passed away Monday, April 24, 2017 in the Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele.Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Thursday, April 27, 2017 in the family plot in the Morningside Cemetery with Military Rites.. Visitation will be from 1-2 PM in the funeral home before the service. Reverend David Clark will officiate. Mr. Coleman was born on September 29, 1923 in Rochelle, Ga.He was son of the late John J. Coleman and Annie Owens Coleman.He was retired Owner/Operator of Coleman Overhead Doors and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rochelle.He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Nell Coleman in 1985.He served his country with honor in the United States Army. Survivors include:son-Jackie (Barbara) Coleman of Rochelle, daughter-Jamie (Danny) Luke of Fitzgerald, sister-Nell Styles of Alpharetta, 4-grandchildren-Johnny (Stephanie) Coleman, Christy Coleman, Kelly (Shae) Singletary and Ryan Luke and 6-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be:Johnny Coleman, Jaydon Coleman, Ryan Luke, Shae Singletary, Robert Davis and Matt Herndon. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
