Joel Greene

Joel Greene, age 31, of Guyton, Georgia (formerly of Rochelle), passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022, at his residence.  He was an aircraft mechanic for Gulf Streams Corp., and a Baptist by faith.

Joel was born April 12, 1991, in Tifton GA.  His father is Eddie Greene and his mother is Lynn Dale.  He is also survived by his wife, Ashley Greene; his children, Bo, Charles Case, and Sawyer Greene; his sister, Ashley Howard (Buford); his niece and nephew, Haylyn and Keagan Howard; and his maternal grandmother, Barbara Gibbs.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 10 ^th , at 10:00 a.m. in the Wilcox High School Gymnasium with Rev. Tim Moorhouse officiating.   Mitch Cornell will provide music for the prelude and postlude.  Pallbearers are James Gibbs, Scotty Gibbs, Scotty Lee Gibbs, Adam Gibbs, Jarred Cornell, Caleb Cornell, Tony Greene, and Anthony Greene.  Honorary Pallbearers are John Studstill, Jared Brinson, Jose Rodriguez, Chris Smith, Josh Long, and Brandon Roberson.  Interment will follow in the Morningside Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church, Rochelle, GA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a favorite charity.
