Jimmy L. Shedd age 66 of 2535 Briarwood Road, Abbeville, passed away Friday, June 21, 2013 in the Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, June 24 at the Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. David Clark and the Rev Harris Johnson with interment in the in the family plot of Antioch Cemetery with full Military Honors. Mr. Shedd was born on December 28, 1946 in Abbeville. He was son of Mary McCallShedd of Abbeville and the late Emory Shedd. He was of the Baptist faith and was retired carpenter. He served his country with honor in the United States Marine Corp. during the Vietnam Era. Survivors include: his mother, Mary Shedd of Abbeville, sons, Eric (Barbie) Shedd of Hubert, NC and Donovan (Heather) Shedd of Altamonte, FL, daughter, Krishna (Don) Roberts of Daytona Beach, FL., sister, Janice (Brown) Ledford of Abbeville, 9 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Sunday, June 23, in the funeral home. Frazier & Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements
