Jimmy Drew Fitzgerald, age 83 of Abbeville, passed away Monday, May 12, 2014 at his residence.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, May 16th in the M. G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home.Visitation will be one hour before the service from 1-2 PM in the chapel.Reverend Debbie Cone will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Bethlehem Cemetery in Ben Hill County. Mr. Fitzgerald was born on December 4, 1930 in Ocilla, Ga.He was son of the late Perry Drew Fitzgerald and Lila Keen Fitzgerald.He was a retired employee from Robins Air Force Base as a Transportation Personnel Specialist.He was a member of the Abbeville United Methodist Church.He served his country with honor during the Korean Conflict in the United States Army. Survivors include:son-Drew (Doris) Fitzgerald of Seattle, Washington, daughter-Jan (Bob) Keith of Newalla, Oklahoma and sisters-Jacqueline (W. L.) Taylor of Abbeville, Laverne (Joe) Crenshaw of Cordele and Joyce (Otto) Wigham of Folkston. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle has charge of arrangements.
