Jessie F. Lamb

Jessie F. Lamb, age 90, of Abbeville, passed away Monday, November 6, 2023, at her residence.   She was retired from the Farmers Home Administration Office, and was a member of the First Baptist  Church of Rochelle.
Jessie was born October 15, 1933, in Pitts, Georgia, to the late Herman R. Farr and Dora Parkerson Farr.  She was also preceded in death by a son, Dennis Lamb; and 2 brothers, Jackson Farr and Herman Farr, Jr.
Survivors include her husband, Ruben Lamb; a son, Mike Lamb (Ramona); a daughter-in-law, Jane Lamb; her brothers, Ronnie Farr (Ellie) and Keith Farr; grandchildren: Craig Lamb (Ashley), Josh Lamb (Miranda), Luke Lamb (Torri), Melanie Rodriguez, and Michaela Fries;  great-grandchildren: Bransen, Casen, Anisten, Katie, Ansley, Lane, Trenton, Tucker, Emerson, and Brantley;  nephews:  Gordon and Adam Farr; and a niece: Sheila F. Stone.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 8th, at 11:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church of Rochelle with Rev. David Clark officiating.  Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery.   Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
