Jeanne R. Greene, age 76 of Rochelle, passed away Monday, November 9, 2015 in the Taylor Regional Hospital.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, November 12th in the Tabernacle Baptist Church.Reverend Ralph Griffinand Reverend David Fisher will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Morningside Cemetery. Mrs. Greene was born on January 14, 1939 in Millen, Ga.She was daughter of the late Jack Roberson and Magalene Royal Roberson.She was retired City Clerk of Rochelle with 32 years of service.She was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church and the Tabernacle Choir.She was Director of the Rochelle HousingAuthority for many years.She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Greene. Survivors include:sons-Tony (Denise) Greene of Rochelle and Eddie (Diana) Greene of Warner Robins,sisters-Jackie (Johnny)Cross of Bonaire, Gail (Lonnie) Nace of Kathleen and Debbie Spring of Vienna, grandchildren-Joel (Ashley) Greene, Ashley (Buford) Howard, Bridgette (Alex) Clements, Casey (Tiffanie) Greene, Anthony Greene, Christina Elling and Jimmy Elling, great-grandchildren-Haylyn Howard, Keagan Howard, Callie Clements, and Bo Greene. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 11 from 6-8 PM in the funeral home. Pallbearers will be:Joel Greene, Anthony Greene, Casey Greee, Buford Howard, Jimmy Elling, Paul Cain, Joey Bullington and Alex Clements.
